Period: 19th Shin-Shinto, 1863.
The Kanteisho identifies the smith as
Miyamoto Kanenori. See also Hawley, KAN259.
Nagasa: 70,6 cm.
Sugata: Shinogi zukuri, iori mune, chu kissaki.
Kitae: Itame hada, ko itame hada.
Hamon: Regular choji midare, with many nie.
Boshi: Ko-maru, nie.
Nakago: Ubu nakago, yasuri me katesagari,
ha-agari kurijiri, 2 mekugi-ana.
Miyamoto KANENORI is regarded a JO SAKU sword smith. ( 上 作 )

Habaki: Single habaki, copper with gold foil.
Seppa: Copper.
Fuchi/kashira: With many small insects, Mino Goto style.
Nice tsukamaki in katatsumamimaki style.
Tsuba: Mumei, steel, marugata, sukashi, Heianjo school.
Size: Size 77,2 x 72,4 mm. With gold/copper inlay.

Sword comes in shirasaya and koshirae.

Good Japanese polish, with sword bags.
